Helping women find and follow Christ
Our dream is to see an intergenerational community of women who share a deep love for God and are motivated to serve Him and others. A community of women who walk together, encourage each other and accept each other as they grow in their identity and beauty in Christ. A team-lead ministry that goes beyond events and activities to growing disciples.
We believe…
All women are unique
We recognise that not all women are the same. Women are a diverse group of individuals who come from all different walks of life and are all on a unique journey. Our lifestyles, circumstances and preferences are so diverse! As such we aim to have a ministry that welcomes, blesses and encourages all women towards Christ.
Respect women’s intellectual abilities.
God created us all to feel and to think. Our souls hunger not only for the presence of God, but the knowledge of His truth. We aim to grow passionate disciples strongly rooted in the word of God, and to focus beyond emotional needs.
Women are more than roles or labels (i.e. wives, mothers, daughters, sisters).
Women aren’t required to fill these roles in order to see God’s purpose in their lives. While we don’t ignore the importance of these roles in the lives of many women, we also acknowledge that women are unmarried, childless, divorced, single, struggling with infertility, focussed on careers and everything in between. We are all important to God and His plans reflect that.
A safe space to talk about real life
A place that is safe to talk honestly and biblically about our experiences with spiritual doubt, depression, injustice, loneliness, temptation, abuse, regrets, sex, career success, insecurities, need to achieve, perfectionism, financial worries, boredom, anxiety, exhaustion, great books, compulsive eating, addictions, and all the things that give us joy or keep us awake at night.
Affirm women
Everyday women belong. God has created us all uniquely and we are all worth an infinite amount to Him. We aim to only increase your understanding of your potential, worth and beauty in Christ. As such we want this to be a ministry that goes beyond the conventional and traditional constructs of a “women’s ministry”, and beyond events and activities to reach each woman where her passions, gifts and talents lie, whatever they may be.
