2025 ANNUAL REPORT

SERVANT LEADERSHIP TEAM CHAIRPERSON’S Report

Greetings Lifestreams family,

It is my privilege to present this Annual Report. Reflecting on the past twelve months, I am deeply encouraged by God’s faithfulness, and the resilience, generosity, and unity of our church community. This year we have seen growth—spiritual, relational, and organisational—as we continue to pursue our mission to help people find and follow Jesus.

We are committed to being a Christ‑centred, Spirit‑led, outward‑focused church that brings life to our neighbourhoods, workplaces, and the nations. This year we advanced our mission through worship, discipleship, service, and community engagement.

The Servant Leadership Team has primary responsibility for the governance of the Church, and in so doing, supporting Senior Pastor, Rod Thom, and the Ministry Leadership Team, in guiding and leading our mission. We also have legal responsibilities in conducting “the business” of Lifestreams, and the various enterprises we host and support.

Your generous tithes and offerings continue to support the operation of the Church, and we understand and acknowledge the difficulties of the continuing escalation of the costs of living. Lifestreams has remained financially stable, through wise budgeting, careful stewardship, and transparent reporting, all of which have allowed us to sustain ministry, support staff, and invest in future growth.

We have continued to extend our reach within and outside our walls, through Beyond, Lifestreams Global Family, Lifestreams Community Inc & Trust and grants from the Legacy Fund. Highlights from the year include:

  • Ongoing support for local schools, community organisations, and chaplaincy
  • Mission partnerships both locally and overseas
  • Food relief, pastoral care, and practical assistance for individuals and families in need
  • Engagement with our neighbourhood through events, hospitality, and service initiatives

These efforts reflect our conviction that the gospel is good news for the whole person and the whole community.

Our campus has continued to serve as a hub for ministry, community groups, and outreach activities. This year we invested in:

Upgrades to audio‑visual and digital infrastructure

Maintenance and improvements to ensure safety, accessibility, and hospitality

Strengthening administrative systems to support ministry effectiveness

An emphasis on the Prayer Hub supporting individual and community prayer

I want to acknowledge our operations staff and volunteers who keep our spaces welcoming, functional, and mission‑ready.

We continue to trust God as our provider and remain committed to using every resource for kingdom purposes.

Our Board and pastoral team have worked collaboratively and prayerfully throughout the year. Key governance achievements include:

  • Strengthening risk management and compliance processes
  • Supporting staff development and wellbeing
  • Reviewing ministry priorities in light of long‑term vision
  • Ensuring healthy communication between leadership, staff, and congregation

I want to express my sincere thanks to each Board member for their dedication, wisdom, and servant‑hearted leadership.

As we enter the coming year, we do so with anticipation. Our focus will include:

  • Deepening discipleship pathways
  • Strengthening youth and young adult ministries
  • Expanding community engagement and mission partnerships
  • Continuing to invest in digital ministry and communication
  • Exploring opportunities for growth and innovation in how we gather, serve, and reach people

Our work with Manna Consulting on our Strategic Vision Impact and Health Assessment for the next ten years has been a focus, and with the final report in hand, we expect to continue to land some if not all of the recommendations therein.

We believe God is calling us to be a church that is courageous, compassionate, and creative in sharing the hope of Jesus with our world.

Thank you to every person who has prayed, served, given, encouraged, and participated in the life of Lifestreams this year. We constantly pray that our governance meets the highest standards. We also thank our loved ones for releasing us to serve. We value your continued partnership both on campus and online.

In Christ,

Richard Moore

SENIOR MINISTER'S
Report

2025 – A Year of Prayer and Formation

One of the clearest threads throughout 2025 has been a noticeable deepening and increasing hunger in prayer.

We continued our 7th day of the month prayer rhythm in our homes and in the Prayer Hub, faithfully stewarded by our Prayer Hub Coordinator, Peter Raymond. During our 21 days of prayer and fasting in February, there was a tangible sense that God was inviting us to go deeper and to continue enjoying gathering together to worship and pray, especially in the Prayer Hub.

In 2025 we engaged Manna Consulting to undertake a Church Health and Impact Consultation. This was a significant moment, an opportunity to ask honest questions and align more closely with God’s heart for us as a church. If you are keen to read more, you can access Manna’s Executive Summary and our newly written Philosophy of Ministry here (which will be foundational in guiding us forward and implementing the recommendations):

In a world often focused on numerical growth and platform expansion, I sense God continuing to call us to grow in our Kingdom Lives, expressed through:

GATHERING – Being vitally connected
GROWING – Being spiritually formed
GOING – Living our mission

In other words, we are called to be a church that gathers in His presence, grows as His disciples, and goes in His mission and we do this together, empowered by the Spirit. Stay tuned for more as we continue working through the recommendations and embedding this more deeply into our church life.

Alongside this, our corporate gatherings have continued to be sacred spaces. Places where we meet with God, are challenged to grow, and are blessed and sent into the week ahead. We invested intentionally in spiritual formation through courses and connections like Soul Care and Resist, prepared couples for marriage, developed leaders, and created space through retreats and gatherings for deeper formation.

We also continued to hear local and global stories of Kingdom impact and were regularly encouraged to be a B.L.E.S.S.ing in our own spheres of influence.

Together we dedicated children, celebrated baptisms, rejoiced in engagements and marriages, and honoured lives well lived. These are not simply events in a calendar; they are the shared rhythms of a spiritual family walking through life together.

It has also been encouraging to see our staff and key leaders serving beyond our walls; within Churches of Christ WA, local ministers’ networks, youth ministries, retreats, camps, mission exposure trips, and in our local community.

Lifestreams Community Services continues to expand its influence by blessing many in our community with a listening ear, practical support, generous hospitality, and loving care.

Lifestreamers Early Learning and The Loop Café continue to bless families and individuals through their outstanding care, service and hospitality.

We participated in a number of mission exposure trips in 2025 and, because of your generosity, we were able to bless our Beyond family who serve globally with both resources and prayer.

Another highlight for 2025 was the return of the Lipscomb Team from the USA. Once again, they blessed our community with their beautiful spirit of service, generosity and love. They also shared with me how deeply they were impacted by their time here — expressing how much they grew and how much they love our church. We look forward to welcoming them again in 2027.

Looking Ahead: 2026

As we look ahead, our prayer remains simple and bold:

That we would be a church marked by:

  • Deep prayer
  • Deep relationships
  • Deep formation
  • Courageous mission

We will continue to:

  • Respond to the insights from our Church Health Consultation
  • Strengthen discipleship and leadership pathways
  • Invest in programs and resources that spiritually form us
  • Explore wise development of our campus
  • Support Bull Creek Campus as they continue to move forward in their mission
  • Support the Himalayan Harvest Church as they become a Lifestreams partner church here in Perth, WA. They are called to reach the growing Bhutanese and Nepali community here in Perth.
  • Seek and pray for renewal and revival — believing for more people to find and follow Jesus

As we move forward together, I’m reminded of Paul’s words in Colossians 2:6-7;

“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith … and overflowing with thankfulness.”

This is my prayer for us.

  • That we would be deeply rooted in Jesus
  • That we would be built up together as His church
  • That our faith would be strengthened
  • And that our lives would overflow — with gratitude, love and courageous mission

Thank you for the part you play. Thank you for your trust. Thank you for your incredible generosity.

I remain deeply grateful and full of hope. The best is yet to come.

Praying God’s richest blessing over you and your family.

PRAYER AND PASTORAL CARE Report

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” Colossians 4:2

Prayer is so diverse and powerful. There is an ongoing call for us to keep developing rhythms for praying, personally and together.

Prayer Hub

I want to thank Peter Raymond who has continued to pour many hours in 2025 into the ongoing development of our Prayer Hub; where we can come together and experience the manifest presence of Jesus and pray God’s kingdom into being in our church, city, country and beyond. Peter has now been appointed as the Prayer Hub Coordinator.

Daron Crothers commented; “The times in the Prayer Hub for Lifestreams Global Family have been incredible because it gives us the opportunity to join together as one family here and across the world praying together and interceding for the work of God. I am glad the 7th of every month comes around quickly! The Thursday mornings dedicated for Lifestreams Karawara and her churches has had major impacts, some of which we can see, some of which we cannot see. But we know this is the difference maker. Lifestreams Karawara does not have her own building so to have a dedicated space that we can use anytime is an absolute blessing.”

Another person from our church commented; “I just want to encourage and thank you for the Prayer Hub. I had one of the board members of… (our Christian organisation) comment to me last week that they thought the time that we spent in the Prayer Hub together praying for the organisation’s key leadership changed the trajectory for the organisation.”

Thanks also to Nomi Letchford who spent many hours painting a mural for the outside Prayer Hub wall.

We are blessed to be a blessing. The Prayer Hub is a kingdom initiative and has definitely played a huge part in our church and many other ministries, here and beyond.

God loves it when His people humble themselves and join together to pray; listening, intercession, thanksgiving, praise, adoration, confession, blessing and declaration. Please keep persevering in prayer!

May you experience more of the Holy Spirit’s presence and power in your life as you stay alert and pray with thankfulness.

Pastoral Care Ministry

As in past years, there have been lots of pressures, illness, grief, fatigue, mental illness, old age and broken relationships in our people’s lives. I am very thankful for our Shepherding Elders in the prayer and care they provide for people dealing with a very diverse range of challenges. We are also very blessed to have so many of our church step up in caring for each other. I see many people giving what they have to serve people.

Several people who visited our church in 2025 have commented on the terrific vibe there is in our church. Others commented it must be a great church because so many people are still sitting and chatting for a long time after the service finished. Another new person asked me; “how do I serve here, how do I get involved?” Another person shared with me how healing our church has been for them and others. That’s very encouraging.

Thank you to all who play their part in prayer and care for the people of our church. May you continue to follow the prompts of the Spirit in praying and caring for people. Your name may not appear in any report, but you are a significant player in God’s kingdom ministry.

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds”. 2 Corinthians 10:3,4

I invite you, God’s soldier, to keep growing in your engagement in this war, knowing that Jesus Christ our commander, is the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

May God bless you abundantly.

Associate Minister

BELONG AND HERSPACE Report

Belong Ministry

Belong Ministry seeks to care and create spaces where everyone can connect, belong, and grow in their relationship with Jesus and one another. In 2025, we focused on the Welcome Team, Hospitality, Shepherding Elders, creative expression, belonging spaces, and church-wide events to foster belonging at Lifestreams.

2025 Highlights & Celebrations

  • Welcome & Hospitality: New visitors were warmly welcomed, connections made at Welcome Lunches; meals and practical support provided for families, new babies, and those grieving.
  • Shepherding Elders: We were blessed with our Shepherds continuing to offer prayer, care and support for our church community.
  • Creative Ministry & Prayer Hub: Monthly art, poetry, and music projects inspired prayer and community engagement. The café space showcased stories of the prayer hub and creative works from our community.
  • Church-wide Events: Let’s Eat Nights, Bonfire Night, Inspire Night, and Vision Partner Dinners strengthened relationships, fostered connection and welcomed new people.
  • Milestones: We celebrated births, engagements, new marriages, and baptisms across the church.

Prayer & Looking Forward to 2026

  • Pray for continued volunteer involvement across Welcome, Hospitality, and Creative Ministry teams.
  • Pray for belonging spaces across the church (like the Prayer Hub and Café) to continue inspiring discipleship, engagement, and community connection.
  • As we look at the ongoing development of our church’s culture, pray that Lifestreams remains a place of authentic care, love, and encouragement. A place where people heal from past hurts and dive into their God given calling as followers of Jesus.

Herspace Ministry

Herspace Ministry focuses on women’s connection, discipleship, and mentoring, providing spaces for spiritual growth, encouragement, and meaningful relationships.

2025 Highlights & Celebrations

  • Mentoring Relationships: A goal for 2025 was to see 10 women form intentional mentoring relationships. We saw 7 new intentional mentoring relationships started in 2025, involving 14 women.
  • Women’s Retreat: 12 women attended the retreat exploring Secrecy, Confession, and Celebration, providing space for reflection, joy, and spiritual growth. This retreat was of huge value to the women who attended.
  • Small Groups & Mum Club: Brunches, Mum Club, Craft group and small groups encouraged women to step into active participation, support each other, and grow in faith.

Prayer & Looking Forward to 2026

  • Pray for continued fruitfulness in mentoring relationships and small group participation.
  • Pray that women continue to support, encourage, and step into ministry using their God-given gifts.
  • Pray for God’s guidance in raising up a leadership team, planning and leading women’s events, retreats, and gatherings in 2026, so they remain spaces of joy, discipleship, and authentic connection.

DISCIPLESHIP AND WORSHIP Report

Discipleship

There was a flurry of activity in the first half of the year. Alongside our Sunday services, we hosted the 24-7 Prayer Gathering, ran a number of courses (Soul Care, Practicing the Way: Scripture, Equipped) and opened up the church for a drop-in bible study to help people connect with each other and the Word. Notably we did not run a large 'Alpha' course, instead this was done one on one with two people who were keen to strengthen their faith foundations. The second half of the year we focussed on creating new small groups and resourcing established ones, while there were opportunities to participate in courses that Lifestreams Bull Creek was facilitating. There was significant interest in joining groups, and most of the groups were at or over their functional capacity; more groups were needed. Two new groups launched, one multiplied, and another two had chosen to wrap up by the end of the year. As we look to 2026 we are praying for (and seeking to train) new leaders so that more people can be intentionally discipled in smaller group settings.

Worship

Firstly I would like to thank each member of our Worship team for their faithful and dedicated service through the year. There were multiple periods where we had significant gaps, both on stage and behind and scenes, and so many of the team willingly (and joyfully) stepped in to serve both on Sundays and at special events and services. A special mention and thank you is also due those on the Worship Leadership Team who steered the ministry throughout the year as we discerned what the future leadership structure and/or role would best serve our church. The inaugural worship retreat was well attended and received positive feedback, so we have planned another for next year. By way of encouragement: the Ministry Leadership Team (MLT) frequently heard stories of how the musical worship had ministered to individuals in specific ways and how those who were unable to attend in person were blessed through the livestream.

YOUNG ADULTS Report

Young Adults

Our plan for the year was to encourage all of our Young Adults to connect in and participate in the wider church community, rather than facilitating regular ‘Young Adult’ specific events. The after church coffee and lunch hangouts continued organically and were great for helping connect those who were new to our church. Without the scheduled events, more of the group also chose to join a small group, which was wonderful to see. State Youth Games was once again a highlight with over 100 participants joining our team and having a blast playing sport together over the June long weekend.

David Lee commenced his role as Young Adult Overseer in September 2025. His first task was to meet with the Lifestreams Young Adults which was held on the 21 September 2025 when over 50 young adults attended.

During this gathering, Rod Thom, Senior Minister, and David Lee shared their hearts and vision for the ministry. A survey was conducted to better understand what the young adults hope to see and an invitation was extended for young adults to step into leadership alongside David Lee in 2026.

The new Young Adult Leadership Team for 2026 is: Alison Weaver, Kayla Maritz, John Richardson, Zac Robartson and Sidney Halse.

A Lifestreams YA dinner was held on 16 November 2025. Over 50 young adults attended, many bringing a plate to share and a gift for the ‘Stealing Santa’ game. It was a great opportunity for the Year 12s to connect with the wider young adult community in a relaxed and casual environment. We are thankful for Eloise Atkinson, Shaelyn Ladner, Kayla Maritz, Zac Robartson and Alison Weaver, who helped organise this event. What a great way to finish the year sharing good food, laughter and great fellowship together!

As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited to see how God will continue to shape the Lifestreams Young Adults to be disciples of Jesus, passionate lovers of His church and Jesus influencers in every sphere of life.

YOUTH Report

2025 has been a significant year for Rise Youth, marked by growth, leadership changes, intentional discipleship, and meaningful moments of faith across both Rise Youth and Rise Youth SNRs spaces.

In Rise Youth, our weekly program focused on key topics relevant to life and faith, including respect, spiritual gifts, and leader-shared testimonies, which modelled authentic faith. We also worked through a prayer series by Francis Chan, encouraging students to grow in understanding and practice of prayer. Our Rise Youth SNRs engaged in several focused teaching series, including Keep It Simple, which created space for sharing testimonies, and Practicing the Way, which explored spiritual disciplines and following Jesus in everyday life. This was followed by Prayer Practice, deepening consistent prayer life, and Community Practice, exploring how to build healthy, Christ-centred communities. Alongside Friday nights, several small groups met during the week for deeper Bible study, discipleship, and intentional faith formation.

A major highlight was our Rise Youth Camp in Binningup on the theme “On Purpose, for a Purpose” (Ephesians 2:10). It was a time of teaching, reflection, fun, and connection, with many students responding by exploring faith further, accepting Jesus, seeking baptism, or engaging in ongoing discipleship. We celebrated baptisms during the SNR Road Trip (Elise Bell, Addison Ewin, and Rowan Marley) and in the Rise Youth space (Jethro Widermann).

2025 saw a strong cohort of Year 12 students, one of the largest in recent years. This reflects the way that God has been working through the Rise Youth SNRs space. Its an engaging, relevant, and relational space, allowing Year 10–12s to deepen their faith. It also highlights the faithfulness of leaders, who have journeyed with these young people over many years.

The year brought a significant season of leadership transition with Grace Cook concluding eight years of faithful service as Youth Minister. Josh Riches, Sidney Halse, and Brooke Crossley stepped in as Overseers, and in Term 2, Corey and Brooke Crossley became the Youth Ministry Team Leaders, while Josh and Sidney continued as coordinators. The team adapted to a new leadership structure while remaining dedicated in serving and discipling our young people.

We also made a strategic shift in our Friday night structure, moving from the café and auditorium spaces into the seminar rooms and the hall. This created a simpler, safer, and more intentional environment, fostering deeper discussion, stronger relationships, and greater engagement.

We were blessed to collaborate with the team from Lipscomb University, who joined us for two Friday nights, including a themed “USA Night,” and ran a July holiday program in Fremantle and at Lifestreams South Perth themed “Shipwrecked” (Psalms 46:10). This allowed the youth an opportunity to connect with others from a different context, have fun, and grow in faith.

Throughout the year, we ran a variety of event nights, including Smalls and Compassion nights each term, Foreshore Night, Mario Kart Night, Bonfire Night, Progressive Dinner, In the Pines, the End of Year Party, and the SNRs Road Trip. We also gathered with the wider youth community of Perth at Youth Alive Main Event. These nights provided fun and connection helping young people feel a sense of belonging and encouraging them to bring friends along.

Overall, 2025 has been a year of deep discipleship, significant change, and intentional community. We are thankful for all that God has done through Rise Youth and look forward with expectation to what He will continue to do.

Looking ahead to 2026, we aim to continue building a ministry where leaders walk closely with young people, guiding them toward Jesus through authentic relationships. We are committed to forming disciples who practice their faith and are transformed. We believe these young people will then go on to reach others, becoming disciples who make disciples in their communities.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY Report

It has been a true privilege and honour to serve as the Children’s Ministry Co-ordinator at Lifestreams Christian Church throughout 2025. This year, we have seen the Kids Ministry continue to grow and flourish. Our leaders have faithfully served with love, care, and passion, and their dedication to sharing the Gospel has had a visible impact on our children. Each Sunday, the children have engaged with enthusiasm and joy, growing in their understanding of Jesus and building meaningful friendships in a safe and welcoming environment.

In 2025, we were blessed with 36 adult leaders and 8 leaders aged under18 who served faithfully every week. They led activities, games, and Bible teaching in creative and age-appropriate ways, helping create a vibrant and faith-filled Kids Church. I am deeply grateful for their commitment and heart for the next generation.

I also had the privilege of joining the Jakarta Mission Trip, which was a powerful and unforgettable experience. Worshipping together, learning from the local community, and serving children there was deeply encouraging and a beautiful reminder of God’s work beyond our own church.

One of the highlights of the year was our Pyjama Party outreach, with 37 children attending, including 14 new children. Supported by our Kids Ministry Leaders and the Lipscomb Team, the event included worship, teaching about the Holy Spirit, games, pizza, a piñata, and a creative activity on the Fruit of the Spirit. Despite some early challenges with set-up, the event was a great success, and we received very positive feedback from parents and children.

During the school holidays, we also hosted a Family Taco Night on 1st October 2025. Families shared a meal together, played games, watched a short Christian movie, and participated in a meaningful discussion about faith and miracles. The evening concluded with a powerful time of prayer, with children praying for their parents and families praying together. It was a beautiful night of connection, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement.

In December, our children joyfully prepared 201 Christmas gift bags and around 100 Christmas hampers for those in need. They were fully engaged and excited to serve, learning about generosity and compassion in a practical way. During one of the services, I also had the opportunity to honour and pray for our leaders, presenting them with small gifts as a token of appreciation for their faithful service.

As we look back on 2025, we are filled with gratitude for God’s faithfulness. It has been a year of growth, outreach, and spiritual development. We thank God for every child, family, and leader who has been part of this journey.

This year, 2026, we are going to continue building a strong biblical foundation in the lives of our children, creating engaging and Spirit-led programs that help them know Jesus personally and grow confidently in their faith. We are prayerfully believing for continued growth, deeper discipleship, and an even greater impact in the year ahead. May 2026 be a year in which our children not only learn about Christ but also boldly live out their faith in their schools, homes, and friendships.

TREK

Our TREK program was faithfully led by Lynette Dewing for many years, and she has done an amazing job. After deciding to step down from leading TREK nights, she remained for Term 1 of 2025 to help guide the team through the leadership transition. At the end of Term 1, we held a farewell for Lynette Dewing and TREK leader Carolen Greaves, thanking them with flowers and gifts for their many years of faithful service. The children and leaders prayed for them, making it a meaningful time of gratitude and blessing as they stepped into a new season.

Our leaders grew in confidence as they learned to lead games, share Bible messages, organise activities, and work together effectively as a team. Throughout the year, we worked together to build a strong ministry that empowers each leader to serve faithfully and grow in their gifts.

In October, six of our children attended youth camp, where they experienced fun, connection, and powerful times of worship alongside the older youth. We ended the year with a combined End-of-Year Party with Rise Youth, celebrating all that God has done. I also presented small gifts to our leaders to thank them for their faithful service.

Although our Years 5 and 6 program was previously known as TREK, we will no longer be using the TREK curriculum in 2026. We are currently in a season of transition as we reshape the program and prayerfully discern a new name, which will be confirmed in Term 1 of 2026. While the name may change, our heart remains the same: to provide a Bible-based, fun, safe, and supportive environment where students can grow in their faith.

As we reflect on 2025, we are grateful for God’s faithfulness and look ahead to 2026 with great expectation, trusting for continued growth, unity, and spiritual development in the year ahead.

Children's Ministry Coordinator

BEYOND Report

I thank God for the opportunity to serve as the Beyond Minister across the South Perth and Bull Creek campuses in 2025.

We ran four Beyond Sundays in 2025 with speakers including Sally Lee from OMF, Ross Nancarrow from International Missions Ministry in Nepal, Brian Durand working at Lifestreams Nations (at Curtin University) and Cosmos Health Care (working in PNG, Zimbabwe and Uganda).

There were many different exposure trips in 2026. Along with Liz Roberts I helped to lead the Lifestreams Global Family Emerging Leaders Summit in Jakarta in July. This was an extra-ordinary trip with emerging leaders from Australia, Nepal, Myanmar and the Philippines joining young leader from Indonesia for a week of ministry. We worshiped and prayed together, served together in the slums of Jakarta and spent much time listening and learning from each other.

In September I led a team from Lifestreams to visit Fellowship of Hope in Cambodia. This was both a very difficult and rewarding trip. It was difficult due to the incredible trauma the Cambodian people have experienced through the horrors of the Khmer Rouge and also the ongoing war with Thailand which has displaced hundreds of thousands of people. Visiting a refugee camp was heart breaking! Yet – in the midst of such darkness Christians are sharing Christ in word and deed, which was wonderful to see.

Through John Bardsley, I was able to source rechargeable LED lanterns for 3 of our Beyond families in Myanmar, Indonesia and Cambodia. What a delight to see hundreds of these lanterns given out to people in such difficult situations so that they can see at night. In Myanmar it is allowing families to read the Bible in the evening when there is often no power.

Over Christmas we also saw a team of young people visit Alisha and Dave Besford in Bangkok. The trip was very impacting for all the young people. Unfortunately the leader (Arthur Tantiprasut) was hospitalised with kidney stones for a number of days while in Thailand.

Our Beyond family continues to do many amazing things for God! They are planting churches, training leaders and providing clean water. They are serving in slums, teaching English and reaching international students. They are training birth attendants and teaching women to run a small business so they don’t need to sell their bodies. The Beyond team is proclaiming the gospel holistically, in word and deed, so that people everywhere can find and follow Jesus.

We continue to pray for a new generation of Christians from our church to take the gospel to the nations. We continue to pray for all the finances to support our Beyond family. Thank you for your partnership.

COMMUNITY Report

COMMUNITY

Our community ministry continued to grow in 2025, with more volunteers, more activities, and more people cared for across our neighbourhood. The ministry spans both Community Outreach and Community Services, and is supported by a dedicated team of 30 volunteers and 5 part-time staff: Liz Roberts (Community Minister and LCS Manager), Amanda Mills‑Ghani (Program Coordinator), Raelene Newall (Mental Health Consultant and Counsellor), Pri de Rosairo (Multicultural Service Coordinator), and Deb Barnes (Sports Coordinator). I want to express my sincere thanks to this wonderful team of staff and volunteers who faithfully love and bless our community every day. I am also deeply grateful to Lifestreams Christian Church for their generosity and ongoing support of our activities.

LIFESTREAMS COMMUNITY OUTREACH

B.L.E.S.S: We held B.L.E.S.S. Sundays in August and November, encouraging our church to love our neighbours wherever they are in their everyday lives. Kids Church brought B.L.E.S.S. to life by creating cards and helping assemble Christmas Hampers. The weekly B.L.E.S.S. Gathering continued to welcome 15–25 people, including several who are exploring faith and taking their next steps toward Jesus.

International Friends: This group met weekly in 2025 at the Victoria Park Community Centre, welcoming between 5 and 25 attendees - many with little prior knowledge of Jesus. Participants came from across Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Throughout the year we shared cultural dinner nights, Aussie pizza nights, and Easter and Christmas celebrations. The group also ran a Finding Life small‑group study designed for people learning English and exploring faith. A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful volunteer team, including Pri De Rosairo, for her significant contribution to running and supporting the group.

Lifestreams Sports: A big thank you to Deb Barnes for doing a fantastic job overseeing this area. In 2025, Lifestreams Basketball had 15 teams competing in the junior basketball competition at Lakeside Recreation Centre. Around 150 children were registered, supported by 30 dedicated coaches and managers. Their commitment is outstanding, and I’m incredibly grateful for the time and care they invest in their teams. It was also wonderful to have church member John Peletier coach a boys’ team in Semester 1. With no dads involved, John stepped in wholeheartedly and guided the team to a grand final win.

Another highlight toward the end of 2025 was forming new connections with Collier Primary School Chaplain Bethany and with YWAM. Through this partnership, we are preparing to launch a weekly after-school clinic for our junior basketballers and any children from Collier Primary. The program will offer an hour of games, fun, basketball, and a short God‑spot.

LIFESTREAMS COMMUNITY SERVICES (LCS)

Emergency Relief: Amanda Mills‑Ghani has provided outstanding leadership in this area, supported by our volunteer Community Chaplains and a committed team of volunteers. Demand for emergency relief continued to rise in 2025 as our community faced ongoing cost‑of‑living pressures, housing shortages, domestic violence, homelessness, and increasing mental health challenges.

LIFESTREAMS GLOBAL FAMILY Report

INTRODUCTION

The Lifestreams Global Family (LGF) serves as the Church Planting Movement of Lifestreams Christian Church operating under the auspices of Lifestreams South Perth. By God’s grace, we have 371+ churches in 7 different nations. Our Vision: A Flourishing Family of 1000+ Healthy Churches by 2033 Transforming Communities, Cities and Nations for Christ. Thank you to all who have prayed and sowed financially into the ministry of LGF.

HIGHLIGHTS & PRAISE POINTS

  • The outworking of our 3 strategic foci:

1. Establish a House of prayer for all nations (Isaiah 56:7, Mark 11:17) – which we have done in partnership with the Lifestreams South Perth Prayer Hub. This has been established where we pray every month on the 7th across the nations.

2. Identify, Develop and Release younger leaders (2 Timothy 2:2) – A wonderful and strategic trip to Indonesia in July 2025 for our younger leaders from across all churches and nations.

3. Releasing Women in their APEPT gifting (Ephesians 4:11) – we have seen an increase in the mentoring of younger women for ministry.

  • The continuing momentum of our LGF Australia Vision to plant 32 churches by 2033 (currently 12 with two new plants this year).
  • The opportunity to travel to the Philippines and see the Subanen tribe being reached with new churches being planted.
  • The opportunity to travel to Tanzania to host our DRC Team Leaders and the board. We have put into place a financial reporting system and self-sustaining strategy.
  • We have adopted a new church in Perth called Himalayan Harvest Church which reaches out to Bhutanese and Nepalese living in our city. More on this to come.
  • The partnership with LGF Indonesia to build two new schools in the dump site of Jakarta is a great honour. Releasing children from the poorest of the poor.
  • Moving LGF to a new level of governance to prepare for the future. LGF now has her own bank account.

PRAYERFUL PLANS FOR 2026

  • LGF International Summit October 5-9, 2026 - meeting all of our leaders internationally for a 5 day summit to strategise for the next couple of years and build deepening relationships.
  • LGF Australia - we are dreaming of 1-2 new plants
  • LGF Africa - LGF DRC reporting systems working well. We also want to launch a self- sustaining project. LGF Burundi to be established. LGF Tanzania to plant 1-2 churches.
  • LGF Indonesia - developing the partnership to the churches across the islands.
  • LGF Myanmar - to see release from oppression and that the LGF Churches survive this tough season of persecution.
  • LGF Nepal - plans are underway to visit to strategise for the next season.
  • LGF Philippines - the potential to launch the Subanen cultural centre in the mountains and thus providing a base for people to read the Word of God in their dialect as well as the planting of new congregations amongst this Unreached People Group.
  • Bhutan - if the partnership with our Bhutanese brothers and sisters works well in Perth, we envisage the potential of an LGF Bhutan in the short to medium term future.

BULL CREEK CAMPUS
Report

If we were to sum up 2025 in one word, it would be increase - not just in activity, but in clarity, courage, and connection.

This has been a year where we didn’t just do more - we became clearer about who God is calling us to be.

A Year of Vision

One of the most defining moments was early in the year as we discerned and released our own Vision Statement -

A CHURCH WHERE EVERY GENERATION BELONGS AND IS TRANSFORMED BY JESUS TO IMPACT THE WORLD FOR CHRIST.

This wasn’t just a line on paper - it was the fruit of prayer, listening, and unity. As a church family, we sensed God sharpening our focus and giving language to what He has been forming in us since our launch as Lifestreams Bull Creek 4 years ago. We move forward together now with fresh alignment and shared momentum.

Stepping Out in Faith

This year we stepped into several “firsts.”

With the help of the amazing Lipscomb University Team, we hosted our very first School Holiday Outreach, opening our doors wide to local families. Laughter filled our spaces. New connections were made. Seeds were planted.

That was the launch pad we needed to begin our Friday Night Youth Group, creating a place where young people can belong, build friendships, and explore faith in a real and relevant way. It has been exciting to see energy, ownership, and growing community among our youth.

We also welcomed the wider community into our new Kids Music Program. Week by week, families have gathered, relationships have formed, and our building has echoed with singing, movement, and joy. It has become a beautiful bridge into the lives of local young families.

And on a quieter but equally meaningful note, a weekly Sew Social Morning began later in the year - simple tables, conversation, creativity, and connection.

Going Deeper

While we reached outward, we also invested inward.

Two new courses exploring the foundations of our faith created space for deeper discipleship. People asked honest questions. Truth was unpacked. And commitments were made through baptism.

Celebrating Generosity

Our inaugural Christmas Fair was a highlight — full of community warmth and festive joy. Beyond being a wonderful gathering point, it also raised funds for Beyond ministry, extending our generosity past our own walls. It was a beautiful picture of celebration and mission woven together.

Strengthening Spaces to Serve the Vision

This year we undertook a major outdoor renovation with the aim to create an outdoor space that was not just safe but would also serve the vision of gathering community. What was once underused space is now welcoming, functional, and ready for ministry. These improvements aren’t just cosmetic - they expand our capacity to gather, connect, and serve for years to come.

Faithful and Flourishing

Alongside all the new beginnings this year, we also celebrate the strength and consistency of the ministries that have continued throughout 2025.

Messy Church has remained a vibrant expression of creativity, hospitality, and intergenerational faith. Families continue to gather in a space where faith is explored through hands-on activity, shared meals, and meaningful conversations about Jesus.

Lifestreamers continues to be a place of biblical learning and fun for our children.

Our ongoing Youth Sessions during our Sunday gatherings have continued to build depth and discipleship among our teens.

GLOW Women’s Ministry had a number of unique, fun events that have encouraged faith and strengthened our community of women.

At the heart of it all, Prayer and Worship remains strong. Regular prayer gatherings continue to undergird everything we do. We continue to enjoy gathered time of worship where we seek to be Spirit-led, creating space each week to encounter God together. These rhythms of prayer and praise are the foundation upon which all ministry rests.

Grateful and Expectant

When we look back at 2025, we don’t just see events - we see faithfulness. We see volunteers who showed up early and stayed late. Leaders who carried vision. Conversations that mattered. Prayers that were prayed. Risks that were taken.

God has been at work among us.

And as we look ahead, we do so with gratitude for what has been built and give thanks to our Mother Church South Perth for all her support. We look ahead with expectancy for what God will continue to do through Lifestreams Bull Creek.

Thank you to every person who has served, given, prayed, led, and participated. This has been a year worth celebrating — and we believe the best is still ahead.

LIFESTREAMERS EARLY LEARNING Report

Another busy year in the life of Lifestreamers Early Learning, thankfully our team are incredibly reliable and stable which helps us through even the craziest of days.

As always, our family events were well attended during 2025. We hosted our first night-time social event in July with dinner and a dance party. The café area was full of families eating and chatting before moving over to the gym for some energy-filled dances and games. This night was a big success and we look forward to more in 2026. The end of year Christmas event was a little different with no Lifestreams Christmas festival to tag onto. Nevertheless, it ended up being such a special day with more time to chat to families and the freedom to include some extra experiences for the children to enjoy.

The Early Childhood industry faced a number of challenges during 2025 with the actions of a few causing widespread negative publicity. Unfortunately this has had an impact on new enrolments, with many families deciding to stay home longer with their children rather than risk centre based care. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Lifestreamers community for their continued support during this time. It has been encouraging to hear our families intentionally seeking us out to voice their support of our Centre, it does a lot to reduce the stress our team are feeling.

The team remained consistent for much of the year which provided great continuity for the children in our care. It was also a big year for qualifications with quite a few of them finishing their studies. I am so thankful for this team and their commitment to the children, families and each other, leading them has been a privilege!

The end of the year saw a large cohort of children moving off to school. Even though they were ready for their next adventure, it was a sad time for us here with many of them having been with us since they were babies. We are thankful for the opportunity we had to feed into their young lives and help prepare them for their future and for the trust the families have placed in us.

While 2026 has started quietly, we believe that God has placed us here for this community and trust that the enrolments will begin to flow in soon. As always, we value your prayers for our Centre and for the team and families who make up Lifestreamers Early Learning.
